Jedidiah is a talented multimedia designer who is establishing a reputation in the industry and amongst media pundits for his creative output. He is currently absorbed in creating a series of interactive DVDs and a intriguing website called URBO which will be an on-line biographical profile of a series of world cities and their citizens. This is on top of his final year studies for a degree in multi-media and digital animation where he is specializing in web design. During his time as a student he has worked part time for the company run by his sculptor father, the award winning Stephen Broadbent. The URBO project will effectively incorporate a digital scrapbook of sounds, movies, interviews, photographs and narrated stories by the inhabitants of many of the exciting cities he plans to feature on the site. He explains that the aim is to try and capture the spirit, mood and atmosphere of each city through the people, the architecture, the culture in all its manifestations, the tourism icons and other concepts that will lift URBO above the limitations of the usual tourism and promotional sites. The first completed city project will appear online in the summer of 2006. In the meantime, Jedidiah is also working with cities500 on various projects and has designed and coded the existing website which he will expand and monitor as it develops. |
